Noel Tobin was born in Dublin, where he received his early education before moving to London to pursue dancing. He married Geraldine Morrissey, known as Gerry, in 1966 and together they had two daughters, Natasha and Fiona. Noel's commitment to community and safety continued through his work at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, until his retirement in 2007. Despite enduring 15 years of poor health following a stroke, he remained active in both his professional and personal pursuits until his passing.
