Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is a type of treatment for cancer and a few other diseases, such as autoimmune diseases. It is the transplantation of multipotent hematopoietic stem cells, generally derived from bone marrow, peripheral blood, or umbilical cord blood.
